Here’s what I’m wondering today. What does a good HS library blog look like? Why does it exist? I’d like to have a couple of book discussion blogs, one for middle school and one for HS. It would be great to talk about books with students. I should probably investigate some local blogs to see what’s being done. Any leads?
Looks cold
Someone asked if I had ever participated in the real “Penguin Plunge,” but no–it just looks cold. When I worked on the islands (GISU), I’d see the die-hard ice fishermen sitting on those buckets at -15 or so. Brrrrr! Metaphoric plunging is conducted indoors!
Let it snow! Thing 1.
Snow delay, ski trip–school is pretty mellow today, so I can take time to post. Fellow VT23 sojourners, click on “penguin plunge.”
Help still needed!

Off to a good start: AILA’s “I don’t know any Indians”–looking for more resources for providing better library services.Congrats, Trina! It was great seeing your picture on the Wall of Fame!Morial Center looks great–it’s still a couple of miles long! Shuttle service was excellent. Tech support perfect. “We’re jazzed to see you” welcome committee at the doors was a nice touch! Yes, you can hold a major conference in the Big Easy.![]()
